Cookie policy

Which cookies leadivee.com uses, why, and how to accept or reject the optional ones. We default to refusing optional cookies until you tell us otherwise.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences. Similar technologies, local storage entries, session storage entries, work in a comparable way. Throughout this policy we use the word “cookies” for all of them.

2. Your consent

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), we may only place cookies on your device that are strictly necessary for the service you have requested. For all other cookies we need your prior, informed consent. We ask for that consent through the cookie banner the first time you visit. The Accept and Reject options carry equal prominence; the banner is not a dark pattern.

3. Essential cookies and local storage

The following are required for the site to operate and are set without your consent under the “strictly necessary” exception:

NameTypePurposeLifetime
age_okLocal storageRecords that you have confirmed you are 18 or over, so the age gate does not appear on every visit.Persistent until cleared
cookies_consentLocal storageRecords your choice on the cookie banner so it is not shown repeatedly.Persistent until cleared

4. Optional cookies (consent required)

If you accept optional cookies through the banner, we may load a privacy-respecting analytics tool that produces aggregated reports, page views, approximate location, browser type, without identifying you personally. We do not load advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not share analytics data with operators or advertising networks.

5. Changing your choice

You can change your consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. Most browsers offer this via Settings → Privacy → Clear data for the site. The next visit will display the banner again so you can make a fresh choice.

6. Third parties

We do not embed third-party social-media widgets, video players or chat tools that would set cookies on your device. Outbound links to operators are plain hyperlinks; clicking one takes you to the operator's site, which is governed by their own cookie notice.

7. Browser controls

You can also block or delete cookies entirely via your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site from working, for example, the age-gate confirmation would re-appear on every page load.

8. Questions

Cookie questions can be sent to [email protected]. For complaints about cookies on UK websites generally, the supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner's Office.
